Aloha Gang! First off, I need to apologize for some of my comments I have made to some posters here, new and old, the other day. Please accept my apologies if I have offended anyone. I have been under alot of stress these past days due to some personal situations going on. In hopes of trying to not let anymore BS come my way, I may have been a bit to hasty in my words to others. Again, sorry for the lack of professionalism on my part. Aloha Co-Captain.
Now, on to the business at hand. Well yesterday, again we come within a hair of having a winning day, but it just wasnt meant to be. Anyways, yesterday brings this weeks record to 7W-9L-1P= -3 Units.(not including vig) Today, we have a large card, but I think that I have nailed down some quality winners for us to capitalize on today. So without further adew. Lets Get To Rockin Already!
**6 Unit Plays on:
IOWA ST -5-Iowa St is 11-1 SU and 6-3-1 ATS at home this season. K St is just 1-8 SU and 4-3-1 ATS on the road. K St spanked Iowa St by 31pts at home 2 weeks ago and now its PAYBACK TIME again for Iowa St, who have proven to many in the Big 12 that they are very capable of playing with them all. Today, the Cyclones should get their Revenge.(WINNER-by 6pts)
BRADLEY +1-Another case of two teams going in opposite directions. ISU is on a 9 game losing streak, which includes 4 straight home losses. Bradley, on the other hand, is on a 3 game winning streak, and won 5 of 7 games since the return of their leader SR G Phillip Gilbert from injury. The Braves are a better team then this ISU squad and today they should be able to notch another easy win even on the road.(WINNER-by 1pt Whew!)
**4 Unit Plays on:
GEORGE MASON -5-This will be the last home game for this GMU team and they will want to send their Seniors out in style today. The Patriot Center and its fans will make sure that this happens as they provide alot of energy and enthusiam, which they have always done this season, enroute to their solid home record of 11-1. GM also didnt let down at home either scoring an average of 78 ppg at home this year, and that should be to much vs this opponent to match. (WINNER-by 13pts)
RUTGERS -5.5-Rutgers is a different team at home this year going 7-2 ATS and 12-1 SU. WV, on the other hand, is 2-6 away from their home court. There is a 10pt difference in Off and Def, and away vs home between the two teams, both in favor of Rutgers. Rutgers is ranked #3 in the Conf in 3pt FG% and 3rd in Rebounding. Rutgers plays solid defense giving up just 63 ppg. Rutgers also 5-1 in Conf home games, while WV is just 1-4 in Conf road games this year. Rutger will bounce back tonight at home sweet home.(WINNER-by 21pts)
KENT ST -4 (buy .5pt)-Kent owns Buffalo winning the last 4 meetings by an average of 21pts. Kent this year is a solid road team posting a 9-2 record on the road. Buffalo is just 6-5 at home and now they must deal with this HOT Golden Flashes squad who is just giving up 62 ppg on the road.(LOSE SU)
**3 Unit Plays on:
XAVIER -12-Another example of two teams heading in opposite directions SU and ATS. X is playing solid of late and should have no problem dominating in the paint on both ends of the court, from start to finish. X has covered 6 straight and also covered all six vs the spread. St Bonny has lost 8 straight and also lost all those games against the spread. Also, of those 8 games, St Bonny has only stayed within 11 twice. Xmen roll.(WINNER-by 16pts)
ILLINOIS -1.5-Personal choice of mine. I just like how the Illiani play ball. Iowa is hanging on, but Illinois is way better and more to play for, in my opinion, FWIW.(WINNER-by 19pts)
NW -3-The Wildcats favored over Indy. Bobby Knight must be laughing his Ass off after seeing this line. Anyways, NW is 8-2 at home this year and 4-1 in Big 10 home games. NW has been playing well lately, while Indy has been fading of late. Tonights game should bring out the Wildcat faithful and they should make the HCA, one reason why the Wildcats gets this win today.(WINNER-by 4pts)
**Ok Gang, I may a few more selections. So you can check back later if anyone is interested. Lets all have a good one today on Hump day, as after today its all down hill to the Wild Weekend. Good Luck to All and Lets Go Get Em! Aloha Co-Captain.
